DAY 1 NAIROBI >> ABERDARES
Depart from Nairobi and drive towards the North the journey will take you through rich kikuyu farmlands with large plantations if coffee and tea arrive at your base hotel in Nyeri in time for lunch after your lunch at the famous Aberdare country club you will be transferred to the Ark which is situated deep in the mountain by the hotel vans this unique lodge resembles a ship and it overlooks a flood lit waterhole and salt lick animals visit this place all night long Often seen here are the Elephants Rhinos and the Bushbuck occasionally a leopard or a giant forest hog may be seen stay here for overnight
DAY 2 ABERDARES>> SAMBURU
In the morning the hotel vans will bring you back to Aberdares country club for breakfast After you breakfast depart for Samburu National park passing through isiolo the gateway to George Adamson’s land of lions reaching Larsen tented camp or similar by lunchtime samburu is an open savanna plain and its in the vicinity of UasoNyiro river with luck you could come across DikDik and Rhino,Bufalloes and Elephants are plenty Other plains game present includes Cheetah leopard among others dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp
DAY 3 SAMBURU >>LK NAKURU
After your breakfast depart for lake Nakuru national park passing through the magnificent Thompson falls located at Nyahururu this waterfall is named after Joseph Thompson one of the first European explorers who walked from the Kenyan coast (mombasa) to lake Victoria in the 1880’s lunch at Thompson falls proceed to Nakuru with a brief stop over at subukia view point arriving at Nakuru in time for an evening game drive After your game drive return to your lodge camp for dinner and overnight
DAY 4 LAKE NAKURU>> MASAI MARA
Leave after your breakfast and drive to masai mara “sarova mara camp” or similar The drive to Mara camp takes you through an abundance of exotic colorful flowers, a very fantastic site for sore eyes take your lunch and have a break before engaging on late afternoon game drive Return to your camp for dinner and overnight
DAY 5 MASAI MARA
Early breakfast followed by a morning game drive within the reserve Masai Mara is famous for vast rolling plains and round hills of interminent groves of acacia woodland and dense thickets of shrubs. A picnic lunch at the hippo pool gives you a chance to spot crocodiles and hippos basking on the rocks you should expect to see three major animals of the big five namely The elephant, lion and buffalo the leopard and Rhino are shy and elusive and you will be lucky to spot them, large herds of wild beasts zebras masai giraffe can be sighted as well as scavengers like hyenas and vultures In the afternoon you have a choice of three activities a game drive a nature walk with a native masai guide or alternatively visit a masai village and learn their nomadic lifestyle (at an extra cost ) payable directly to the masai village elders after the activities return to your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight,
DAY 6 MASAI MARA>> NAIROBI
Early morning pre breakfast game drive then return to your camp for late breakfast after your breakfast have an enroute game drive on your way out of the park and on to Nairobi have a stop over for lunch in Narok town and here you can visit the nearby curio shops, proceed on your journey to Nairobi arriving late afternoon or early evening
